The Team Behind Every Job

The TID Trenchless sewer repair team works the same way John Shaw has worked his whole career: look first, explain clearly, and do the job right. We repair sewer lines from the inside for homes and commercial properties across Southeastern Massachusetts, so you don’t have to dig up your yard to fix the problem. When our team shows up, you get people who know trenchless work and take pride in it.

Meet John Shaw

John Shaw

Founder and Owner
Marine Corps Veteran

John started TID Trenchless in 2019 after more than 13 years in wastewater infrastructure. His background includes running crews as a foreman on municipal contracts, managing projects for a large trenchless manufacturer, and training contractors on trenchless systems across North America and Europe. Today, he sets the standard for how the TID team works, from the first camera look to the final inspection. You can read John’s full story on our About Us page.

What to Expect From Our Team

Here’s what happens when the TID team comes out to your home or business.

We look before we recommend.

Every job starts with a sewer camera inspection, so we know exactly what’s going on inside your pipe. No guessing.

We give you a straight answer.

We show you what the camera found and explain your options in plain words. If a smaller fix will do the job, we’ll tell you.

We treat your property with respect.

Trenchless work means less digging and less mess, and we clean up the work area before we leave.

We prove the work.

When the repair is done, we run the camera again so you can see the finished pipe for yourself.

A Team Built for Complex Jobs

Some sewer jobs are simple. Others take real planning. Our team handles both.

Along with homes, we work on larger systems like condo and apartment buildings, commercial properties, factories, municipal lines, and pump stations. These jobs have more moving parts, tighter access, and less room for mistakes. That’s where John’s background matters most. He spent years teaching other contractors how to install trenchless systems correctly, and he holds our team to that same standard.

We also carry several different lining systems, so we can match the right method to each pipe instead of forcing one approach onto every job. That’s why we’re comfortable taking on the jobs other companies walk away from.
